Dear Team—

I know you all just finished your gathering - I trust you’re as excited as I am with the positive developments. Previously I shared you all a note, I expressed the following: “I am confident in this group. You all are some of the most driven and talented developers we have had the chance to collaborate with - and we’re eager for that partnership to continue.”

Through your commitment and adaptability, particularly over the last year, you continue to prove that.

The community feedback from last fall’s the game playtest was enlightening. It validated the potential of a roguelike shooter but made clear we still had refinements needed. It revealed the necessity for a sharper brand.

It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve come. You embraced the feedback to mind and overhauled the title with a renewed vision - one that’s poised to fulfill its promise to our players.

The belief in Project ETHOS strengthens every day. To further the outstanding development you’ve made, I am thrilled to announce Ben Brinkman as the incoming Director of 31st Union. Following several months of discussions, Ben comes aboard us on the specified date.

His guidance and background in the competitive gaming field is extensive, having devoted the past decade and a half producing and overseeing some of the most recognizable franchises in the industry, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops, and more recently, Apex Legends.

I invite you all in welcoming Ben soon. We are all excited to continue observing the progress of Project ETHOS in the weeks to ahead.
