The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
